ApHogee Two-Step Protein Treatment has been used by salons for years as a service which provides more effective and longer lasting results than any single step treatment or intensive conditioner. This unique treatment is formulated with activated proteins and magnesium which fuse into the hair with the application of heat. Hair breakages is drastically reduced for 4-6 weeks following use.
During the process, ApHogee treatment hardens into the hair, dramatic evidence that something special is occurring. For best results a hooded dryer is required. After rinsing and moisturizing with ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer, clients are astounded with the results. ApHogee Two-Step Protein Treatment can help improve other salon services as well and is highly recommended for hair that:
- Is too weak or fine to take a perm, bleach, straightener or relaxer. (use the week PRIOR to service)
- Is over-bleached.
- Will not hold color. (use PRIOR to color application for 30% less fade after 10 shampoos and truer shades)
- Breaks when combed or brushed.
- Is mushy when wet and brittle after drying.
- Has lost it’s curl pattern due to chemical over processing *
How To Use:
Shake well before use! Keep out of eyes. If product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. (The pH of ApHogee Two-Step Protein Treatment is about that of lemon juice and it will cause similar eye irritation).
Using the ApHogee Two-Step Protein Treatment for Curl Restoration
- Gently cleanse hair with ApHogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair. Rinse thoroughly and towel blot dry.
- Apply Two-Step Protein Treatment by “scrunching” through the hair until completely saturated. DO NOT COMB THROUGH HAIR. Even coverage throughout the hair is important! Be sure to protect eyes. If product gets into eyes, follow directions on for rinsing.
- Leave hair uncovered, DO NOT use a plastic cap. Seat client under medium heat dryer, with high airflow.(Alternatively, a hand dryer may be used, but hair SHOULD NOT be agitated while drying.) NOTE: When ApHogee Treatment is dried into the hair, the hair becomes extremely hard. DO NOT comb or brush hair while ApHogee Treatment is dried and in the hair.
- Re-wet and gently rinse thoroughly with warm water. Remove all excess dried protein. Towel dry.
- Apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer to hair and scalp. Leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Refunds & Returns
We do not do any refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final. If you receive a package that was damaged in transit, please file a claim with the appropriate carrier that your items were shipped by, USPS, UPS, etc. We are not responsible for any damage incurred to package once we have placed the package in the possession of a carrier. If there is a discrepancy with your order that is related to the items being different from what you ordered, please email us, and include a picture of the items that you received as well as your packing slip. Once a discrepancy is confirmed, at your discretion, we will reship your item free of charge, or provide you with a full refund.
Shipping
All orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours, but no later than 72 hours during the week. Weekdays are considered Monday through Friday. Orders received on the weekend will began their 24 hours on the next business day. If an order is received and we are out of stock, the customer will be notified immediately and asked how to proceed. If we are not able to contact the customer within 24 hours, the out-of-stock item will be refunded, and the rest of the order will be processed and shipped.
All orders will be sent to the delivery address provided by the customer. We cannot be held responsible if that delivery address is incorrect. If we receive an error when trying to process the order, we will make every attempt to contact the customer to verify the address prior to shipping. If we do not receive a response within 24 hours, we will ship goods to the address provided. Once we ship a package, we do not refund any funds if it is undeliverable; therefore, any package that is returned due to it being undeliverable, the package was refused, or any other reason beyond Essence of Beauty's control, items will be restocked and the order will be refunded less the shipping cost & a 20% restocking fee.
We will always deliver goods according to the delivery option selected by the customer during the order process. If possible, to deliver goods in a speedier delivery option, we will do so, but only if this option is available with the carrier selected by the customer. We are only responsible for processing and shipping orders in the appropriate time allotted for the customer to receive their order according to the delivery option selected. Once orders are in the carrier’s possession, we are not responsible for any delays caused by a third party, i.e., carrier. If you receive a package, and it is damaged, you may file a claim with the carrier that delivered it. You may also contact us, and we will file a claim for you; however, a picture of the packaging, damaged items, and packing slip will be required, and we must be notified within 72 hours. Multiple orders may be joined and delivered in one parcel.
